OUR STORY

Our story begins where girl meets boy. Girl is celebrating in a Monday Funday fashion in downtown Blacksburg, Virginia. After all, I just graduated from Virginia Tech and had reason to celebrate. The last stop of the evening was always Top of the Stairs (TOTS). While trying to leave my number for the bearded bartender I snorted at the thought of him seeing me scribble down my digits. Embarrassed, I tried to duck under the bar abruptly, which ended with me smacking my head on the bartop leaving quite the mark. Confused, Justin asks if I was alright because he had never seen such a performance. Little did he know he would be stuck with me forever.

We bought our house together in April 2020 after falling in love with the “good bones” and potential the house has. We feel so fortunate and humbled to have a place of our own that drains our bank account, but more importantly allows us to dream of the life we will have and the love that will be shared here. On the back deck of our home Justin popped the question in front of my family July 5^th, 2020. Due to the awful pandemic that took the world by storm we had to push our wedding date (like many) to October 2^nd 2022. It truly was the best day surrounded by our family and friends in Elkton, VA.

We have been in wedding bliss this first year including home renovation, a cruise to Belize, and a pregnancy! We are expecting a baby girl in April and we are over the moon.

We wanted to create this site to be able to provide life updates for family, friends, and all of our loved ones!

Confused, Justin asks if Alice is alright because he had never seen such a performance from other TOTS patrons. Little did he know his life would be changed forever. Six years later the couple has been inseparable since!
